When you saw someone was sitting in a coridor holding a cup full of money, you knew that someone is a beggar that begs for a living. But some people only not doing anything and pretending someone isn't there. At least give a smile to make them happy. Even giving 10 cents only is more than enough for them as long they don't feel excluded from the society.
